Humara Ghar Humara Vidyalay

FAMETOONZ in collaboration with Carrot Films, Delhi, embarked on a transformative journey to address educational challenges faced by children in Madhya Pradesh. The project, named “Humara Ghar, Humara Vidyalay (Our House, Our School),” aimed to inspire a love for learning and overcome barriers that kept children away from schools, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Empowering Education: How “Humara Ghar, Humara Vidyalay” Brought School to Every Doorstep

The Challenge:

In Madhya Pradesh, many students were scared or faced constraints that prevented school attendance. The pandemic worsened this, leaving children at home without books or resources.

The Solution:

“Humara Ghar, Humara Vidyalay” used a unique approach to bring education home. Initially, the program started by distributing books and using phones for education. Subsequently, street-based classes and innovative summer camps were conducted to foster curiosity and a desire to return to school among children.

The Impact:

The program had a significant impact on children, providing them access to education and fostering curiosity and a renewed zeal for learning. As a result, by the project’s end, more children were willing to return to school.

The Call to Action:

As we celebrate the success of “Humara Ghar, Humara Vidyalay,” more work remains. The program ends with an appeal to identify and support reluctant children, ensuring access to quality education for all.

The program showcases the power of innovation and collaboration in overcoming educational challenges. FAMETOONZ and CARROT Films have not only brought school to every doorstep but also ignited curiosity and a love for learning among many children in Madhya Pradesh.

Animation Style:

The animation style used in this project was unique. Characters were created in Photoshop, rigged on Adobe Animate CC, and animated with a brush stroke styled outline. Additionally, textured backgrounds added depth and realism to the animation.
